september 11 , twin towers

i remember when the towers crashed because it was all over the news for days. when i saw the video it was like seeing it all over again. it's probably the saddest thing that ever happened in the u.s . i can't understand why someone would do such  horrible thing but i can't change the past. it's sad to see the video because so many lives were lost and people were devastated they were crying,running,and screaming for their family members. when i saw it in the news i can remember that there was a lot of smoke and fire. my mom didn't send either me or my brother to school because she was afraid it might happen to us. it was a really sad and horrible thing to see i can't imagine if my family members where there to experience it live. today is the eighth anniversary of the tragedy but all we can do is keep the memory of the kind people who lost their lives alive.
